My First Buck Steelhead

I was in Kooskia, ID. for 3 days and it was my second year trying to catch my first Steelhead trout. The first year I fish for 3 days and caught one Whitefish, but was still very excited to catch a 35 inch plus Steelhead. I caught this beautiful buck at 10:00am in the morning at a place we call the cave. It was the most powerful fish I have ever had on the end of the end. I was able to bring the fish in after a 15 min. fight. I am also a fish taxidermist and recorded the measurements I need for a replica mount. The buck was 38 inches long and 8 1/4 inches from top of back to the bottom of the belly. The fish was released to fight another day.
