Was out catching bluegill on my ultralight pole with some same plastics and catching nice bluegills. On one cast I set the hook and it felt like a log until it took a nice power run. About 10 minutes later, I was able to land the 35" carp and the pole and 4 lb line did its job. Nice fish for being my first grass carp.
