Fin-Tech Fishing Tackle's Nuckle Ball 'Jitt-R ' Jig

Fin-Tech Fishing Tackle's Nuckle Ball 'Jitt-R ' Jig

NB-DB-JITTER-ORGN

Fin-Tech Fishing Tackle's 1/16- and 1/8-ounce Nuckle Ball "Jitt-R" Jigs are chatter-style baits for finesse anglers.

The "Jitt-R" is embellished with a highly reflective blade, which is affixed to the unique eyelet of a Nuckle Ball Jig. And according to the folks at Fin-Tech, the eyelet of the Nuckle Ball Jig is situated at the jig's balance point, which enhances horizontal presentations, as well as bottom-bouncing ones.

The jig was designed so that it would have what its creators describe as "a 100 percent open hook gap," which enhances the ability of the hook to penetrate the flesh of the mouth of a black bass. This gap is achieved by what is call a "head under design."

The blade is affixed to the jig's eyelet by a modified figure-eight connector, and anglers attach their lines to a snap that is attached to the blade.

The 1/16- and 1/8-ounce "Jitt-R" are built around a No. 2-size Mustad MLT Point hook, which has a minor S-curve in the middle portions of its shank. The S-curve helps keep soft-plastic baits from slipping down the shank of the hook, and most Midwest finesse anglers who wield the "Jitt-R" will affix a grub to it. Instead of a grub, some finesse angler might try other soft-plastic options, such as a small fluke-style bait or one similar to Z-Man's Fishing Products TraikerZ.

It is available with the following colors: Blue, Chartreuse, Gold, Orange, Purple, Red, and Silver.

The price ranges from $3.49 to $4.46. They are also manufacture in a 1/4- and 3/8-ounce model, which cost a bit more and are a tad too heavy for  Midwest finesse tactics.
