Choose Your Rod Blank Color

Many of these turnkey kits come with rod blanks that are offered in a number of popular colors. For those kits, simply choose the color you prefer.

Choose Your Handles

Every kit allows you to pick your favorite handle type (full or split grip), choose your fishing application (spinning or casting), and finally pick your favorite material (cork or EVA).

Choose Your Guide Colors

These kits also give you the option to choose between chrome and black rod guides for your casting or spinning kits.

These Kits Have It All

These turnkey kits may have been designed for beginners, but they all come with everything you need to build a professional grade custom fishing rod.

High Performance Rod Blanks

Each kit comes with a high performance rod blank. You can choose an IM6 graphite blank from CRB, or choose a professional grade MHX rod blank used by professional anglers like John Cox (winner of the 2016 FLW Forrest Wood Cup), and Bassmaster Elite Professionals Brandon Lester and Bradley Roy.

Handle & Component Rod Parts

All kits include your choice of traditional Cork or durable (and easy to work with) EVA foam handles in either standard full-length or split-grip layouts. The kits also come with deluxe graphite reel seats that are designed for maximum comfort and castability. The kits even come with a set of perfectly fitted and sized rod guides that will span the length of your rod, and the whole package is finished with fitted tip top guides as well as winding checks. All of these parts were sized to perfectly match and fit the rod blank dimensions that come with your kit.

CRB Hand Wrapper

The CRB Hand Wrapper features a dual spool tensioner and a tension rod which allows for easy reversing while building. Thread then runs to the slider, which can move seamlessly along the 10" wrapping base. The wrapper also features adjustable stands mounted to the base along with a third stand for supporting the butt or tip.

Finally, the hand wrapper incorporates interchangeable step by step instruction cards displaying a range of basic wrapping and advanced decorative techniques. The basic wrapping Step by Step card is included.

CRB Rod Dryer

The CRB Rod Dryer offers rod builders a durable, easy to use drying unit that is perfect for novice and professionals, featuring a 9 RPM 110V Drying motor with 6' cord, form fitting chuck, as well as one Dryer Support Stand.

ProKote & ProPaste Epoxy:

These kits include all the material you need. For the handles and reel seat, they included a 2 ounce ProPaste kit which is a high strength rod building paste adhesive. To make sure your guide wraps stay secure and protected from UV damage, they have also included a 24 ml. ProKote kit is one of the best rod building thread finishes on the market.
